We are delighted to welcome you to our practice.
The Ivy Dental Practice in Stockport was established in 2003 and was fully refurbished in 2019. We are a well-equipped dental practice with three air conditioned, fully computerised surgeries utilising the latest digital x-rays and a HTM 01-05 compliant decontamination room.
We have a modern stylish open plan reception area which is bright, calming and friendly. Our dentists provide high quality dental care to our patients and are British Dental Association gold award members of their Good Practice Scheme.
Preventive dental care
At the Ivy Dental Practice we understand that coming to see the dentist can be a worrying experience for some of our patients – we pride ourselves on all of the team taking the time to understand your individual needs and tailor your treatment to suit this.
As a team we have a focus on preventive dental care, helping you to avoid problems such as dental decay and gum disease by offering dedicated oral health education classes.
The Practice has been in existence for over 80 years formerly as the Wellington Dental Practice. In 2003 the Practice was taken over by Dr Malc Newsome and Mrs Rachel Newsome and subsequently renamed The Ivy Dental Practice.
Malc Newsome is our principal dentist and Rachel Newsome is our Practice Manager who deals with the day to day management of the practice with the help of a dedicated team.
Comprehensive range of private treatments
As a practice we offer a comprehensive range of private treatments including dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, white fillings, teeth whitening and non-surgical facial aesthetics, all supported by well trained, friendly staff using state of the art equipment. We also offer Practice Membership plans to help budget.
