Meet Dr Mahfuza Mannan, an Associate Dentist at our practice, whose commitment to patient comfort and well-being has made her a favourite member of our team since 2011. She qualified from the University of Manchester in 1999 and brings over two decades of dental expertise to our practice. 

 

Dr. Mannan possesses a unique talent for making even the most anxious patients and children feel at ease during their visits. Her gentle and compassionate approach ensures that everyone, regardless of age or anxiety level, has the best possible experience under her care.

Brigitte is our Dental Hygienist and qualified in 1995. Brigitte will examine patients for signs of oral diseases such as gingivitis and periodontitis. She will skilfully remove plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth. Brigitte can also offer enhanced stain removal with our new air-flow system.  

 

Brigitte has a lot of experience in advising patients how best to optimise their Oral Health and is extremely knowledgeable in her field of practice. Members of the practice will benefit from Hygiene appointments routinely under the monthly membership plan. Brigitte absolutley loves her job and is happiest when she is at work helping her patients. 

 

 

Claire is the Compliance Manager at the practice and has worked in the dental industry for over 12 years. 

 

Claire initially qualified as a dental nurse at Manchester Dental Hospital in 2011 and then completed a further course in Oral Health Education with Lancaster University in 2015. Claire has since developed her career and enjoys overseeing the day to day running of the practice whilst keeping the practice policies, risk assesments and audits as up to date as possible. 

 

 

 

 

Adele likes supporting patients whilst in the surgery and has a kind and caring nature. Adele also helps to run the Reception desk and enjoys interacting with all the patients she has met over the years. 

 

 

Amy has been a Dental Nurse at the Ivy for 3 years and has recently passed her Dental Nurses qualification. 

 

Amy delights in assisting the Dentists in surgery and has become competent in all nursing aspects. Amy enjoys meeting and getting to know all of the patients in her care and supporting them as much as possible during their dental experiences.
